Vancouver Safeways started accepting Master Card about six months ago,
but only Master Card. As of now, they do not accept anything else.
I've heard there are plans in the works to for them to take VISA.
I dont know about the other big supermakets but I would image they have
followed suit.
As you probably know, you can also use your bank card to make a direct
payment if you like.

| They were even talking about having the LCBO's open on Sundays (over
the Holiday season) as well as having them take plastic. I would
certainly take advantage of that - very civilized in my mind.

NH is a wonderful place for booze....plastic is accepted in
state run liquor stores...
