For that matter, neither are FACTS, NEWSPAPER ARTICLES, or anything
else that does not have to do with travel plans, or inane requests for
    information.

689.3can we practise some democracy ?TROOA::SELMECZIThu Apr 22 1993 17:4820
this moderation is really annoying, even if the subject is too hot we should at
least get a chance to see that heat. Since every other note that's written, or
almost everything that Derek puts in comes up "blank". Is the moderator
constantly looking at notes and hides them right away??? how much time do you
have to keep such tight (dictatorial) control. My time is limited and I should
not waste working hours on reading notes really, so I try doing it in little
breaks or in my lunch time (whenever I manage to take time for lunch, if
any...) or do it after my official hours are up. And it really is upsetting
that I end up "reading" notes that are already hidden, closed, etc... Someone
above mentioned that everybody should take responsibility of their own
actions and should take the heat for voicing their opinion. The moderator
should only provide certain guidance! What else is there to talk about then
stuff that really matters. This notes conference had a lot of funny notes and
very serious notes, but we cannot just keep on B.S.-ing that would really be a
waste of time, and I don't think we're looking for the "small-talk" notes
conference.

gotta get back to work soon...
