| I just called the Hockey Hall of Fame and they said they will be
closing in January until approximately June as they are moving from
Exhibition Place to Yonge St. and Front street. Thus it looks like you
won't be able to visit them unless you change your travel plans.
As for Leaf games, the way they generally play, you shouldn't have much
trouble getting tickets. Of course, it depends who they are playing.
Part of the tradition of going to a Leaf game is running the 'gauntlet'
of ticket scalpers and ticket searchers between the College subway stop
and the gardens themselves. "who needs tickets?" "Who's got tickets?"
That sort of thing.

p.s. if you call the hockey hall of fame (their numbers in the toronto
phone book) when you do visit Bell will give you their new phone number
and you could then call for more info.

| Hi Doug,
Thank you for the info on the Hockey Hall of Fame. I guess I'll wait
until the summer to go. I had hoped to catch a Leafs game, but will
shoot for a Blue Jays game instead (I'll get see a **real** baseball
team unlike my hometown Red Sox!).
The "gauntlet tradition" at the Gardens sounds likes it's a little more
intense than the scalpers who are out at Bruins games at the Garden.
Although, scalper competition does heat up when the Habs or Blackhawks
come to town...
Thank you once again,
Kathy
