622.0. "Request for drive route: Seattle to Vancouver" by WMOIS::LEE_B () Fri Oct 09 1992 14:58

Would anyone have suggestions for a good driving route to take from
    Seattle's airport to Vancouver, BC?
How are driving conditions along that area in Dec 5-15 (any snow)?

    Advice would be appreciated.

Take the I5 north, it will take you about 2 1/2 hours to get into town.
Rain, yes, but not snow; we only get snow once or twice a year here.

    G'day,
If you have sufficient time you could leave Route 5 at Burlington
and take 11 north to Bellingham which brings you back to Route 5
again. It is a very pretty drive - some interesting coast line nearer
Bellingham and farmland with mountains in background just
north of Burlington. I was there a few weeks ago and thought it a
very pretty area. The road is fine. If it is pouring with rain
you probably wouldn't want to do it as you wouldn't see much anyway.

    Cheers, Janene

    To Lam and Janene Davis,
Thanks for your directions, via I-5 and scenic route.
