| You're EVIL, Gary!
Good to hear from you though. Are you well? Hope so.
How do you think Les Habitants will fare against the Bs? I don't
feel very confident. I think they can win but also feel they are
making too many mental mistakes. Just hope they can stay out of
the penalty box. Power play has vastly improved over last years
( not hard to do that, says you) so maybe that will help. Should
be interesting I just hope it doesn't slide into the kind of mess
between Chicago and Minny.
Keep in touch. All the best to you and yours and Ryan's.
Ted.

basis for a system of government! Supreme executive power is derived
from a mandate from the masses, not by some farcical aquatic ceremony!
You can't wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart
threw a sword at you!

Ted, you should have known better than to ask any sort of reasonable
question in this notesfile! Judging from the replies you've already
received, I suspect you've given up hope of finding out the scores.
But, nil desperandum!! Here are all the Jay's scores to date, plus their
overall record and position in the A.L. East. I'll post more results, if I
can, on a regular basis.

* The loss to Detroit on 17-Apr was especially embarrassing! Jays led 4-1,
bottom of the 9th with 2 out and nobody on. However, Duane Ward managed
to give up a 3 run homer to tie the score. In the bottom of the 10th,
Pat Borders committed an error to send the runner to third base, then
gave up a passed ball for Detroit to win the game. Ah well, you win
some, you lose some!

| Hi Peter,
Many thanks for bringing the note back to ground and for the scores.
You wouldn't happen to have the same kind of info on the Expos too,
would you? I know that's asking a lot. Thanks again.
Ted.
I'm still really confude about Glenn going on about Arthur and the
Lady of the Lake. Can you see any kind of connection between that
and the contents of this note? I can't.

Glenn happened to have a copy of th'Complete Book of Words of
Monty Python' in front of him and just copied the first page
he turned to. No originality for that lad. can'tHe say anything
unless someone said or wrote it firs. I mean, look at the
name he used 'HRH Frozen od Apple IV', he even copied my
nomde plume.

| Jays take two of three in Oakland, but Boston sweeps, so the Jays are
one game back. Both teams are playing around .600 ball, while the rest
of the division is below .500. Stieb and Ward combined on a
five-hitter, but a bad call in the first inning allowed the winning run
in the 2-1 loss. Oakland had two hits after the first. Joe 'Mr. RBI'
Carter drove in the only run.

| Thanks for the good news, susan.
I wish now, that I stuck to my original intention of visiting my Dad
in Germany next week. I could have watched some of the games on
CFTV Lahr. (Well they are recordings, and a day late, but even that is
better than I could get here in the U.K., unless I bought a Satellite
dish. I doubt my wife would appreciate that)
Regards,
Wayne.
