Some months ago I was in Canada. In a restaurant (the name was Tramps ?) somewhere near Toronto the guests have the possibility to play a kind of video game. With a remote tv control you answer to questions on a screen. It was quite funny and exciting, beacause the same game was played also in other restaurants elsewhere. As salesman in Switzerland asked me recently, if I know a Softwarehouse able to produce a kind of networked game on TV. So I try to get the answers on the folowing questions: Who is the organisator of this Canadian (or US?) game I saw? Where can I get more information? Thanks for helping me! I believe the game is a variation on the board game "Trivial Pursuit".
The game is in a lot of bars in Ontario. It can be played anytime as a
standalone video game but once a week there is a North American hookup.
I don't know any of the details, I've never played, but I think the
link-up is controlled from the USA.

Does anyone know if this game is available in the Ottawa area?
I remember reading about it some months ago, but have never heard of it
in eastern Ontario anywhere.
