| I never use abbreviations when writing address's on envelopes. I
look up the spelling in my atlas or dictionary as may be the case
and write on what I find there.
I usually do not abbreviate street, avenue or court as well.

| You'll find that most business addresses for Ontario are
'ONT'...Canada has three letter designations which are more
popular than the 2-letter American cousins.
