Conference jump4::eats

    How is Parker's on Saturday night?  We're making reservations for a
    "large" crowd this weekend.
    
    Also, what's their dinner menu like?  I remember several years ago they
    had entertainment on the weekends and wonder if they still do.

    We had a party of 18 people with reserverations at 6:30 last Saturday
    night.  
    
    They had another party in the private room they reserved for us and
    when we showed up at 6:20 they said they were just finishing but they
    didn't clear out of the room till 7:20.  We had small children with us
    and told them at 7:00 to get another place for us which they started
    to, but we decided to wait when we saw the others finishing up for the
    private room which was terrific.
    
    Service was slow to begin with, mostly because you can bring your own
    Beer and Wine and I guess they thought that everyone was ok with
    something to drink but some of us didn't drink and were alittle irked
    to have to wait (along with the kids which waited long enough to begin
    with).  After the waitress came in however, she continued to be prompt
    and curtious.
    
    The food was really good.  I had some maple ribs which were falling off
    the bone however, they didn't have much maple taste to them.  Other
    entrees looked good also.  The prime rib was huge!  The kids got
    breakfast stuff and this as always was fantastic.  Their desserts were
    especially good.
    
    Prices are reasonable and we enjoyed ourselves so much we're doing the
    same for Father's day.  
    
    They had some awesome sparkling cider.
