3500.0. "Remote access for DECserver 90M" by HGOM30::THANHSON () Sat Apr 12 1997 10:20

    Dear,

      I have a DECserver 90M in the office. I is connected to our network.
    Now, we have to set up it for remote access.

      If anyone can give us a full introduction to set it up. We are using
    a Motorola modem at the DECserver site.

      And, does DECserver 90M support call back service ? If so, then how
    to set it up ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Son.

Please read the documentation that already exists, particularly the DNAS
Management Guide (see existing pointers in this conference). A lot of
time has been already been invested by many people to produce these guides.

A Windows based tool called the "Access Server Manager" (ASM) exists. This
tool automates most or all of the required setup for a DECserver. See notes
in both this conference and the IROCZ::NETRIDER conference for more info on
ASM.

Yes (LCP) and no (CBCP). Please see one of the several existing notes on
this subject, and of course read the documentation... or at least scan
it quickly like everyone else. :-)
