The ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) has the permanent database in NVRAM and
the working database in RAM. When you use the SHOW command you display what is
in the RAM. Using the LIST command displays what is in the permanent DB.

The CHANGE command changes the NVRAM and RAM database. The SET command changes
only the RAM.

Try using LIST INTERNET ARP ENTRY to display what you have in the NVRAM area.
There maybe more entries in the list then you see with the SHOW command.

	Hi Gene, thanks for reply.

I'm try a LIST INTERNET ARP ENTRY to display.

To result, Display of LIST INTERNET ARP ENTRY is just like
display of SHOW INTERNET ARP ENTRY.

My customer wants to 4 entries for static ARP.

 	Any ideas or suggestions?

3492.4Correct image to use for four arp entries in NVRAMNPSS::SAHRFri Apr 18 1997 18:3917
Hello Norimichi,

A corrected field test image for the problem of 4 entries in the ARP NVRAM
database, is available.

The image can be found at

NPSS::PUBLIC$DSK:[INTERCHANGE]WWENG2_FT10E02.SYS;1

This will allow for 4 entries in the database. A Set command allows for more
than four entries in RAM.

Please let me know how this image works for you.

Regards,

Gene
