| This could be a problem, as the X25 software does not distribute
outgoing calls over multiple DTEs.
If there is a way to seperate outgoing calls, using one of the
filter parameters (eg NUI, calling DTE+local subaddress, call data,
etc) then you can define more than one filter and associate each
one with a different client/DTE.
Incoming calls will work fine, just define a filter for each DTE
and associate them with a single client for the LLC2 DTE.
We will be modifying the LLC2 interface in a future release, so that
it is possible to have multiple LLC2 DTEs to the same host. In this
case, the host software should distribute calls over all DTEs in the
same X25 Access DTE Class.

| In this case, as far as I know, there are only incoming calls. Remote
offices come in as X.29 users through Compuserve to access applications
on the Unix host. There should be no outgoing calls.
Should I be concerned about those LCN issues? Is there a problem with
each WAN DTE using LCN 1-64 and the LLC2 link using LCN 1-128?
Thanks,
Everett

Sorry, I forgot to answer this part of your original question:
the LCN ranges are independent on each of the DTEs. So as long
as you have enough LCNs ( 128 ) on the LLC2 DTE it will be ok.
