    Well, I see nothing in your counters that would indicate where the
    problem lies.  The router may be dropping packets (would be seen with
    the talk 5/'err' command) but the transport protocol should recover.  I
    would compare packets received on one side with those transmitted on
    the other, and see if you can see reordered/dropped packets are
    happening at the same time as your endstations report errors.  You can
    use a sniffer or DTF to trace the packets.
