3674.2How to find/reset NPROC ???EPS::NGUYENWithout fools there would be no wisdom.Wed Feb 05 1997 18:2914
Hi there,

I'm doing technical support for a third party application through
partnership. They recommend to change the NPROC to be
NPROC=64 * maxusers.  I've been editting my /sys/conf/HOSTNAME
and set the maxuprc to 64 * maxusers, which is the wrong way of
doing it. However, I could not find the NPROC anywhere in
/sys/include/sys. Is there anyway to do this?

My OS version is DU 4.0b.

Thank you very much.

This sounds like HP settings.

I think they want to set maxusers to some value as suggested
in .1 and leave it at that...
