2680.0. "ALLIN1CLSVR license: Users cannot connect to AIDA" by COPCLU::ELIN (Elin Christensen @DMO, DTN 857-2406) Thu May 15 1997 15:55

    A customer has upgraded ALL-IN-1 from v3.1 to v3.2 (Danish version)
    It seems that the ALLIN1CLSVR-USER have stopped working after the
    upgrade.

    He has ALLIN1-STARTER-USER licenses for 15 users and ALLIN1CLSVR-USER
    licenses for 10 users.

    All 25 users can access their file cabinets, but only 15 can access the
    AIDA server for new mail notification etc.

    $ SHOW LICENSE/USAGE/FULL shows this

    What should we do?

    (The system is set up with no remote mail and no mail directory, so I
    wonder why the AIDA log tells that it uses X.500 when Mail Directory is
    set to "0" in A1CONFIG.)

2680.1Only ALLIN1CLSVR-USER license failsCOPCLU::ELINElin Christensen @DMO, DTN 857-2406Thu May 15 1997 19:0311

    Martin Cook pointed me to IPMT case CFS.48973
    "AIDA Server does not check for ALLIN1CLSVR-USER license."

    The problem is expected to be solved in Office Server, but there is no
    solution for v3.2 other than issuing another kind of license.

    Elin

    It's only the ALLIN1CLSVR-USER license that fails, as far as I know,
    not ALLIN1CLSVR.

    Elin

    That's right, it is just the check for ALLIN1CLSVR-USER that is
    missing.
