Hi Wilson,
ALL-IN-1 V3.0A is certified against OpenVMS V6.1, but *NOT* V6.2. I
don't think V3.0 is supported anymore, so you might want to consider
upgrading to ALL-IN-1 V3.1, which is supported on both OpenVMS V6.1 and
V6.2.
Note that for OpenVMS V6.2 there is an AIDA Server ICF to resolve a few
problems that VMS version introduced, ICF 38 is what you'd need.
Also, with these later VMS versions there are a few VMS patches
released to resolve threading issues which will effect both the FCS
and AIDA server. ALPCMAR04_062 and VAXCMAR04_062 spring to mind
immediately, although there are others mentioned in this notes file.
HTH,
Kevin.

| Thanks.
In that case we would upgrade our OpenVMS to V6.1 because on the other
hand we are going to migrate people from ALL-IN-1 to MS Exchange.
During the OpenVMS upgrade process, do I just need to shut down
ALL-IN-1? Any recompile work I need to do in ALL-IN-1 after VMS
upgrade?
Best rgds,
Wilson

| It's usually worth a relink after an OpenVMS upgrade, although it's no
longer essential, like it once was. I can't remember when it stopped
being essential, since you're running such an old version.
