I installed DTR 7.1 on a VMS 7.0 node. Since this node is a test
system, it does not have CDD on it. DTR is started up.
The IVP ran successfully.
My users tell me that DTR is not working correctly. Does DTR when you
don't have CDD installed on the node have all the functionality as when
you have all the optional products installed with DTR?

I have listed a few ideas below...
.0 My users tell me that DTR is not working correctly.
???Do your users report specific errors? If so report
???command used and error(s) signaled.
You may want to review the installation guide and the release
notes for the product as they explain the steps necessary
to create a replacement area for the CDD - (read) DTR$TOP
RMS rooted directory structure, etc... Restrictions are
listed for DTR features not implemented in textfile format.
In addition a migration effort may have to be undertaken to
migrate your users files, databases, domains, records, procedures
plots and tables to the new system if your users are complaining
that they can't use these on the new system.
