3550.0. "internet address ?" by CSC32::I_WALDO () Wed Apr 23 1997 17:01

    I had a customer recently ask if there is any internet address
    available to send queries or problem reports (like documentation
    errors, etc.). Real problems would, of course, go through the proper
    support channels.

        Each manual usually has an email address in the preface.
        For example, the preface of

        	Using DEC C++ for OpenVMS Systems
        	April 1996

        gives cxx_docs@casdoc.enet.dec.com and a FAX number. There is
        also a decc_docs@casdoc.enet.dec.com address, for example in
        the DEC C Run-Time Library Reference Manual for OpenVMS
        Systems.

3550.2Still interested in field test sitesDECCXX::MITCHELLWed Apr 23 1997 23:278
Thanks, Dan, for .1. That's the address for reporting documentation
problems.

We don't have an interenet address for customer queries or problems
reports... except for field test sites. We're always looking for
new field test sites. If this customer is interested in communicating
with us, perhaps they would be interested in field testing new versions.
If so, please send me mail with a contact name and email address.
