An ISV wants to know if CXX V5.1 is compatible/usable with DUX V3.2G?

There shouldn't be any problems using V5.1 on UNIX V3.2G. I suggest using V5.5 though. We've come a long way since V5.1. | |||||

If you use netscape and are on the Digital Intranet, you could download DEC C++ V5.5 (suggested in .1) from http://www.zk3.dec.com/decc/decc-kitinfo.html If not, look for the KIT_CXX_ALPHA_UNIX keyword in this conference (#3197.7 for V5.5) for ftp or decnet download instructions. Note that DEC C++ V5.5 is the build compiler for PTmin (Digital UNIX V4.2) and later, replacing V5.1 on Platinum (Digital UNIX V4.0). -Jeff | |||||

thanks for the replies. The problem is that the ISV is using another
companies code which is built with V5.1. They do have 5.4 on their UNIX
V4.0a system.
