I was not able to find an operating systems BINARIES/DOCUMENTATION disk in the DECEMBER 1996 CONSOLIDATED DISTRIBUTION. Was this a problem in general or a change in procedure? Gary Burtt Colorado CSC

Gary, Not sure what happened here. I have the disk included in my copy of the release. Perhaps your issue is an isolated one since we've not had any other comments on this discrepancy? Have you had any customer complaints regarding this?? If not, I can only hope that only your copy of the consolidation was deficient. Another thought just came to mind. With the advent of the new offerings that have been added, you should check to ensure that your order with the SSB includes the full package (VWJ8A) which includes the O/S and not the Layered Product only package (5FW8A) which does not include the O/S. You should have received the entire O/S H-kit with this release if you had the full package. Please let us know what you find out. Best Regards, Dana

As a matter of fact it was a customer call that made me go look at my distribution. Customer had the 1-12 the NAS and that was it ... no binaries. Same was true in my distribution. Gary
