| It has been kind of quiet. Some thoughts:
- notesfiles go through cycles; DEJAVU is in a quiet period
- some (several, many) regular participants have left the company
- the regulars who are left haven't had much new happening in their lives
that they feel is worth sharing (*)
- there haven't been many news wierd events to discuss (e.g., crop circles)
- relatively few new participants are coming to this notesfile (**)
I think the stuff Marcos has been posting lately is pretty interesting.
But that kind of gives you an idea how desperate we must be :-).
(*) - In actual fact, it may be that many people these days are finding
their attention at least partly consumed with job security. I know I
certainly am, as PRL is due to close in about a month and all of us laid off.
(**) - Relatively few new people are coming to Digital, in general.

| >That's terrible, Mike. I didn't know. Do you have any plans yet?
Hmm, maybe I haven't hit the denial or anger stages, yet, but it
doesn't seem too terrible. I mean, here I am, "stuck" in the place I've
wanted for years to be (no ticket back - this was a one-way relo), with
at least a couple of months to think about things and what to do next.
No definite plans, yet, but quite a few promising options.
Meanwhile, Digital's been great. Almost every minute of it. In fact,
it's still great, right now, right up to the last few days.
But now's a chance for change, and change is good. Definitely looking
forward to it. In fact, can hardly wait. I'll probably miss a couple of
notesfiles, though.

Mike,
Well, I'm kinda bummed since you were in TAY all that time before your
move and we didn't get together. However, I hope the very best happens
for you there, and that you promise to keep in touch. (;^)
Did you ever know Michel Barbieri from France? We used to correspond,
but he's gone now and I have no way of getting in touch with him. A
long shot I know, but then, this is DEJAVU.....(;^)
