| DEATH OR LIFE
Floating from this earthly shell, I felt an awareness.
Aware of all that was about me, and with all there was a oneness.
I had an omnipresent view and movement in the universe.
I felt relief as though lifted from me was a great curse.
As I flew about bidding loved ones good-bye,
My heart went out to them as they thought of me and did cry.
Suddenly a tunnel with a light at the end did appear.
I drifted uncontrollably but drawn toward the light, and as I
approached it, I lost all fear.
Entering the other side, I was bathed in this brilliant light
of love.
Immediately I was reunited with departed loved ones who had
previously trekked above.
Soon a flashback with a panoramic view of my whole life arose.
I gazed upon the way of life I had chose.
Finally realizing the rippling affect of ones existence and
its consequences.
This abode's dimensions of time and space had its differences.
I could actually enter each of my past life's scenes.
I could observe or interact as if in a dream.
What new existence has the Angel of Death brought me to?
Have thou brought me to an origin to start anew?

| Thank you for that wonderful poem. It very nicely stated what I have
come to believe about life after life!
We have been intrigued by this subject since our son died four years
ago. I read all sorts of books, including Moody's, and had the
opportunity to meet with George Anderson (there's a note about him here
somewhere). The meeting with George was incredible, and confirmed what
my readings had led me to believe.
The 3 or 4 days after Ben died were very strange for my wife and I. We
felt an incredible sense of peace, and felt very loved. We feel like we
were given a "taste" of heaven, perhaps as a gift to help us understand
that Ben was now in a place of similar peace and love. Whatever the
reason the experience was very powerful, and carried us through those
otherwise difficult days.
This experience, our meeting with George, and various "miracles" or
connections with a greater power/God have led me to believe that there
is much beyond this world, much that we do not (maybe cannot)
understand.
