1512.0. ""THE WATCHERS"" by IAMOK::ROGER () Tue Jul 30 1991 15:31

I've been reading this book titled "THE WATCHERS" by Raymond E. Fowler.
Its a true story of Betty Andreasson Luca's UFO abductions which began
at age 7 in 1944 in towns in Massachusetts like Leominster, Fitchburg
and Ashburnham. The entire book describes Betty's hypnotic sessions
where she gives details about her abductions and her out of body
experiences. She is an artist and has included her drawings which help
the reader understand what she saw. Its exciting to read and is a
new book release which can be found at any bookstore. The author has
written 2 other books which talk about Betty's experiences. They are
"THE ANDREASSON AFFAIR" and "THE ANDREASSON AFFAIR, PHASE TWO".

I live in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Leominster and Ashburnham are
neighboring cities. Maybe there's something in the water that affects
us all. :-) Or maybe all those stories I heard as a child about space
ships based in the area are true.

I used to date 2 sisters that lived in Ashburnham. To get there from
Nashua, I used to pass through Willard Brook State park. This is a
"magical" place. It's near the towns mentioned.

Sounds like something "pretty magical" right there!!! :-D

Well, I guess my original note wasn't taken all that seriously. Thanks
    for the humor though.

    Donna,

    >I guess my original note wasn't taken all that seriously...

Humorous sidetracks are not necessarily an indication of not being
    taken seriously...at least not here.

RE: .10 (Donna)

Donna, let me support what Cindy said. I didn't reply to your note
because I didn't have anything to say -- but that doesn't mean that I
didn't take your recomendation seriously. Because of your note I am
more likely to read the book in question than if you had not written
    it.

Many of the members of this notes file take the process of
investigation/examination of these matters as a joyful one, and this
conference as a kind of community. That joy and that sense of community
gets reflected sometimes in banter and humor. But the humor is not
meant to deride or belittle whatever note stimulated it.

Interesting that she called it that. I've known The Watcher for
    a long time.

I guess I may have overreacted! I intended for this note to go into
the UFO notesfile but, until recently, wasn't able to access it.
Thanks to information provided in this file I am now able to access it.
I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone when I wrote my response and
think I may have hit the 'react' button too quickly. Anyway, the intent
of my original note was to talk about a book that not only explores a
woman's alien abduction experiences, but talks about OBE's and
spirituality....which in many ways belongs in this notesfile as well
    as the UFO notesfile.

Thank you for all your responses.

Did it ever occur to anyone that this woman might be either completely
off her trolley, or making the whole thing up?

Yes Laurie it has, but we are too polite to mention it.
