Since he can only see her in his peripheral vision he should
try not to look at her directly. Just keep her in his peripheral
vision and observe her that way. She what she does/doesn't do.
While he's watching have him see how he feels about her. This
would be the most important part.

990.2To find some possible identities for her...DELNI::S_KORGENEl sueno de la razon produce monstruosMon Feb 20 1989 16:1916
I will forward these suggestions. It does seem clear already,
however, that the figure is somehow protective. I am interested
in how various intellectual and belief systems have identified
figures like this. Are the details of appearance important?
What common images have artists used over time? Does it tie
in with common ideas such as the muse? Has anyone else see something
like this, perhaps in dreams? I remember in particular Jessica
Lange's portrayal of Death, or perhaps an angel of death, in
"All That Jazz." Can anyone from a Catholic background fill me
in on the characteristics of the aforesaid angel or perhaps of
    a guardian angel?

I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for, but the other night
I was reading _The_Hero_With_A_Thousand_Faces_ by Joseph Campbell,
and I read the section on "Supernatural Aid". He talked about the
appearance of sages, wise old men or women, and other forms that
would appear to give the hero advice for the future and sometimes
a magic amulet or something. This advice and/or the amulet would
become useful at some later time. I think your friend's subconscious
is trying to tell him something. Personally I would pay attention
to my dreams for some clues. Sorry I can't help more, but I'm still
    learning.

990.4What *about* supernatural aid...DELNI::S_KORGENNow available in English translationTue Feb 21 1989 15:3516
Well, yes, this is the kind of thing I am looking for. It has been
a long time since I read that book but I think some of the images
I remember from it prompted me to write.

I took this vision as a sign that my friend should take courage
to continue his new start and separate himself from what had become
a damaging relationship. That his fear of "being alone" is unfounded
because he is not, spiritually, alone.

Does anyone thing that there are entities who take an interest in
our welfare? This is what I mean by asking about guardian angels.
I don't see much discussion on this; can anyone refer me to earlier
    notes?

It is my belief that we all have guides that will help us. This sounds like
one of these guides that has chosen to show herself to him. It also sounds
like his higher-self is trying to send him some messages that he isn't
paying attention to. He should try talking to the lady to find out what she
is there for. This would be best done in meditation. I feel that the woman
and the poor health have been created by his higher-self to get a message past
his negative ego. I didn't come up with this on my own, it came from one
of Lazaris tapes about dealing with the negative ego.
990.6Maybe it is His Oversoul?NYSBS::MABILLIWed Feb 22 1989 19:2019
Has anyone ever read anything on Seth by Jane Roberts? Much, if
not all, deals with "oversouls" spoken through Jane by Seth. Very
interesting and "heavy" material. I haven't read her books for
quite a while, but I'm sure your friend could find some answers
    in there.

I can remember when I was more "spiritually" in touch with my self,
always having that feeling of an oversoul. Whenever something negative
would happen I never had the feeling of "doom". Because I knew,
almost rising above the situation, somehow everything was going to
be ok. And while I lived in Calif. I had my aura read
and sure enough there was a very distinguishable figure with what
looked like a third eye (neither male nor female) right there in
my aura. The funny thing about it is whenever I doodle, even from when
I was a child, I always draw just one eye. Very weird.

Geez, I didn't realize I was rambling so long, sorry.
