931.0. "Reflections" by SNOC01::MYNOTT () Wed Dec 14 1988 20:49

Does anybody over there have a set of cards called Reflections?
I just received mine and have had some wonderful times with them.

For anybody who doesn't know them, they are a series of 72 cards
with one word on them. The design is (I can't think of the term
this morning) I think its called Ecru.

You don't think in terms of questions, but in terms of issues.
Shuffle the cards and lay them out in a particular pattern, although
I have had success with one by one lay out. What you get is the
issue at hand, the steps you should be taking to ensure that the
issue happens, problems with the past that relate to the issue,
your emotions and gut feelings towad the issue. All of the readings
I have done have been unbelievable.

What I would like if you know of them...

are some other methods of reading them. Any success you have had,
or just something you may want to share. I have sent my little
response card off to the manufacturers for the newsletter, but being
in Australia, they are unlikely to respond.

    Many thanks,

    ...dale

    re: .0

On a recent trip to Seattle I happened upon a metaphysical
store in Kirkland. They specialized mainly in crystals and
such, but they also had a table at which visiting readers
would use the Reflections deck. The guy told me that a local
artist and her husband had conceived the idea and created the
    	first deck.

The cards have abstract paintings, mostly resembling
marbled colors with different line patters (waves, swirls,
etc.). Each card has a main color and a single word at
the bottom of the card like "Love", "Fear", and "Movement".

I was told they are used just like Tarot cards, except
the pattern was a little different (don't remember the
    	difference).

A pack of cards costs $28. I chose not to buy them.
