711.0. "NEW AGE CATALOGUE...it's useful" by WRO8A::GUEST_TMP (HOME, in spite of my ego!) Thu Apr 21 1988 02:55

Today I picked up a copy of the NEW AGE CATALOGUE at
COSTCO for $9.39 plus tax ($10.05.) COSTCO is similar to
the PRICE CLUB...both are "wholesale clubs" neither of which
is any New England state, I believe. Anyway, this is the same
book I referred to in note 494.8. It is really quite a nice
book and has many references within it, along with a description
of whatever it is talking about.

FOR ANYONE OUT THERE LOOKING FOR POSSIBLE SOURCES FOR
METAPHYSICAL INFORMATION, take a look at this book. It will save
a great many DEJAVU notes, in many cases.

I write this as a separate note because I think it warrants
    it.

  Thanks Frederick,

I saw it at a bookstore in ShoppersWorld over the weekend. I will
definetly pick one up since there is not much around this area on any-
thing NEW AGE. The price was around $15.00. althou it sounds like it
is worth it, especially for us beginners...

Anyone in the Newton, Mass. vicinity can also find it at the
New England Mobile Book Fair located on Highland Ave. in Newton,
about 1/2 mile from Rt. 9.

for my herb gardens. Does anyone know a good mail order source?

Gargoyle replicas OK? I can't vouch for this company. It's just an ad I
spotted in the Smithsonian magazine, but the company is called Toscano
and you can get their free color catalogue by call 1-800-525-1733 ext.
    5842.

I've seen some gargoyles in the nature store in the Pheasant Lane Mall
in Nashua, NH. Forgot the name offhand...

Also I believe Ro Reinke (former DEJAVUer) carries some in her bookstore
out in Athol called The Hobbit Doorway. They may be mostly gargoyles
to hang on walls though. The phone number is: 508-249-5988.

Phillips Gardens Statuary/ Architectural Sales, UK is on the
    Internet, catalogues on request.
They might be able to list their New England distributors.

Now, say it real fast: The gargling gargoyle grabbed the garbage and
gobbled it greedily in the gardenia garden.

They have a few gargoyles at decent prices, but you might have to give
them a weather finish if they are to be out in your garden.
