Saturday March 12th sounds good to me too.  The potluck idea has worked
well in the past, so we might as well try it again.  How about everyone
who wants to come, posts a reply here or sends mail to Mary?  Also, post
any suggestions or comments you might have.

    The directions to my house have been removed to make it a little
    harder for local ax murderers to find me.  Instead, I will take
    the excellent advice offered me and send the directions to all who
    have indicated an interest in attending our party.... (or I could
    transmit them psychopathically, but... a hard copy is easier to
    follow_:-).  Respond to the party note or send me mail and your
    name will be put on the list.  
    re .4  But MWR, we were planning on feeding the children to the
    Shoggoth!  Now I'll have to invest in some bologna.  Sigh_;-)

    Sign me up.  Send me directions.  I could bring mulled cider to
    be heated on the stove and consumed by all (and something to "spice
    it up with" if people so wish, in a separate decanter of course).

    Mary P. - what about my dogs?  They're welcome at the CANINE
    get-togethers.  (;^)  Arf!  They're also wonderful to have around 
    when it comes to cleaning up after the party.....or during the 
    party.....or.....party animals that they are.
            
    Mary M. - please post the concert specifics, or perhaps create a
    new topic?  I'll participate and post the Nashoba Valley Chorale
    notice. Maybe call it the 'Cultcha' note in honor of the NE accent.

    Please no dogs or cats, if it can be helped, as I am unbelievably
    allergic.  Also, if dogs and or cats normally inhabit the house, vacuum
    the day before or it kicks up the dander in the rug.  I *really want*

    I understand if consensus states that pets are welcome (as smoking
    may be, too, depending on the hosts and guests), that is
    that and I shall curtail my stay as my allergies dictate.  I sincerely
    hope you understand that I'm not trying to be a spoilsport....

       Hi,

   Wouldn't it be great to have the East Party at the same time as the
West party and have a tele-conference.?? Just think it would be like a
combine party...oh, well Just a thought.

    Hokie Dokie, I hereby appoint Carla as the Official Picture-Taker
    of the East party.  The other noters party note seems to be at a
    standstill, with Jack still trying to get a commit on dates.  I
    think that I'll a-wander over thayer and stir-em-up.  We can do
    a Simul-Party and get off on the vibes.

    Well I have long been known for arriving at the office cofee machine
    just as a fresh pot is brewing, and now I put DejaVu back in my notebook
    just as a party is brewing.
    
    All things being equal I'll be there (and if I can persuade her along
    so'll my wife) ... all I need is a map :-)
             
    [Of course now I've said that, the day of the party will be the occasion
    of Winter's revenge on us presumptious New Englander's and there'll
    be 2 foot of snow that day...]

    Bring whatever you want and the directions will go out about a 
    week before the party.  If anyone (through error) doesn't get
    them, send mail to MANTIS::PARE and I will send off a copy.

my name is marla.  no one out there knows me (in this lifetime, anyway),
and i don't carry an american express credit card, but i would like
to go to the deja vu party (with a curly-haired tag-along).  (if it's
ok) to do so, we need to know how to get there and what to bring.

PS  Sorry if I missed anyone.  Making the distribution list was no trivial
    task.

    People are bringing a variety of food.  Since we have so many
    vegetarians, please mark any vegetarian dishes.  I'm not assigning
    specific items to specific people because I can't take the pressure
    that comes with being organized to that degree_:-).  We should have
    between 40 and 50 people.  Please come, and communicate, and have
    a wonderful time.  Dave and I look forward to meeting all of you.

Well my friends, I'm ready for you.  The crystals have been polished and
instructed to behave.  The smudge sticks are ready to perfume the air and
drive away the creepies.  The dog has been banished to the back yard.
We will have MUFON state directors, Bear Tribe Apprentices, Wiccans, 
Numerologists, Astrologers, Magicians, lots of other wonderous and 
interesting people, and plenty of beer (although there are some things one
can never have enough of_:-).  I have no idea what we will end up with for
food, but I'm certain it will be good.  Getting all of this energy into one
house should be really interesting.  If anyone decides to come at the last
minute, just send me mail and I'll have directions sent off to you.
May you all walk a charmed path until we roister on Saturday night.

    I just want to say "THANKS!"  The party was really nice.  I enjoyed
    seeing people I haven't seen in a long time and meeting new people.
    Also, as Mary pointed out during the evening, we "Digits" all got
    together and didn't talk about "work"....

    What a pleasure to get out of the city and into the beautiful
    countryside!
    
    

    	A great time indeed!  I've never had so many conversations
    	about so many different subjects with so many people!  And
    	not one mention of work!  (YAY!!!)  It was so wonderful to
    	meet everyone, and, of course, to rub noses with Max the
    	Wonderdog.  The party was surrounded with such a relaxed 
    	and comfortable energy I easily could have stayed longer 
    	than the six hours I was there!  =8*)  Thanks to everyone
    	for the delicious grog and grub, and the love we were all
    	emitting.
