    Heck!  Why not?  Mitchell is just the open-minded sceptic that would
    be needed to accumulate the info.  Just make sure you have duplicate
    copies of anything you send him.  :-)

    I am sorry that you feel the experiment is some kind of manipulation.
    I suggest that your unease about it is a result of your own fear that
    your particular omniscient entity would be wrong.  If you don't want to
    "play," fine.  But I resent the implication that anyone who wishes to
    take part (including myself) is being a "child or adolescent."  Looks
    like you have a prodigious dearth of positive ego yourself, chum. 

    If these supposed entities do have knowledge of events beyond our
    scope, then all the predictions should be the same.  I think this is
    the right place to test that thesis. As I mentioned in the base note, I
    will keep the predictions secret and then post them all at once.
    However, it may interest you to know that the two messages received so
    far coincide.

    with a different tone until I read .8's reaction.  
    
       If I read it more "innocently", then I suppose the premise
    is okay.  I had read it as more malicious.  Sorry, John, I guess
    I just want to have it in for you, somehow.
      
       Sorry I can't comply...it's too hard to get to talk directly
    with Lazaris for ME to do anything about your game.  On reflection,
    I recognize that I have asked questions at least as stupid several
    times (of Lazaris, I mean.)  No question should be deemed too stupid.

    What exactly are we trying to prove with this "scientific" study.
    If not all replies agree does it prove that "all psychic phenomenon
    is fraud" ( except ufo's, right John;-) or that the non-consistent
    answers are from specific charlatans? Can one right answer be
    considered sufficient proof (of what?)?

    I hope no one considers this in any real sense a "scientific
    experiment."  The only conclusion which *might* be reached is that
    not all the participating channeled personalities are omniscient.
    This is a very weak conclusion since, to the best of my knowledge,
    *none* are claiming omniscience.
    
    This "experiment" can give us something to think about but it will
    not allow us to *conclude* anything at all, unless it comes out
    just right.

    John, the teachings of the Rosicrucians are "secret" only in the
    sense that they are not available to public scrutiny, but anyone
    who applies for membership and IS ACCEPTED by the Order, may have
    access to the teachings.  I am certainly not in a position to be
    a spokesman for the Order...they do mention some of their past members
    in their preliminary literature...if you have any more questions

    I decided, just for the fun of it to take up your challenge.  I
    "channeled" a personality using a pendulum (a long "key-chain" or
    "light-pull" chain and my car key).  While I don't take the results
    seriously, I was careful to treat the process seriously.  This is
    not a complete transcript because I asked a bunch of additional
    "consistency checking" questions, which resulted in consistent answers.
    You'll have to take my word for it that these answers were not a simple
    result of expectancy -- some of the answers were not at all what I
    anticipated.

    The four possible answers to a question are: YES, NO, WON'T ANSWER and
    CAN'T ANSWER.  I got one WON'T ANSWER when I asked a constancy
    question in a rather muddled way.

	Do you understand the challenge? YES

	Are you willing and able to participate? YES

	Is there a conventional explanation for the event? YES

	Was the event due to deliberate fraud? NO

	Can the cause of the event be said to be due to neurosis or other
	psychopathology on the part of some individual? NO

	Is the cause of the event human error? YES

	Is a single individual's error the primary cause of the event? NO

	Error by several individuals contributed to the creation of the event,
	then? YES

	The known cast of characters consists of the 2 owners, the police
	investigators, the lab technician(s) and the reporter(s).  Were the
	significant errors which created this event all on the part of these
	people? NO

	Were any of the significant errors due to any of these people? NO

	Is the substance in the house human blood? NO

	Was it blood at all: YES

	But it is true that the technician who made the tests did not
	mistakenly identify it as human blood? YES

	Did the technician identify human blood? NO

	So the technician's results were misreported? YES

    At this point the time I had allotted to this was up, so that's what
    we have.

     in your world".

other imformation on it.
