    Yes, I have _something_ to say in the matter.  I don't have
    _everything_ to say in it.  I'm going to take a limo from my house,
    an airplane ride to an intermediate stop, another airplane ride
    to the final stop, and a limo ride to my parents' house.  At no
    time in this sequence have I control over even such gross activities
    as driving the limos or flying the aircraft, not to mention such
    secondary characteristics as weather behavior, scheduling difficulties,
    or aberrant behavior of my fellow passengers (the last time we went
    to Florida, a husband and wife had an argument and he started to
    inflict physical abuse on her; they were almost thrown off the
    aircraft, and the flight was, as a result delayed).  Were I to assume
    that I have absolute control of all factors (what if Logan is snowbound
    when I'm supposed to return?), I'd be egotistical, pompous, and
    dead wrong.
    
    I will be as positive as possible, and will "will" what I can. 
    But I am aware that there are more factors involved in transportation
    (especially in these days of airline deregulation) than most people
    imagine.

    I'm headed for Australia for 3 weeks this coming Saturday, May 13th, 
    and will be back around June 6th.  2 weeks will be spent in Sydney and
    the third week at the Barrier Reef.  Another couple of weeks will be
    spent recovering from jetlag.
    
    Will be seeing Dale Mynott while there (another DEJAVUer), and perhaps 
    this makes the record for distance traveled to meet another DEJAVU-ite 
    (Carla, what do you think?).

    Since you ask, it had both high points and low points.  Among the
    high points, swimming in the Florida Gulf, visiting Epcot, getting
    several videotapes I'd been looking for (including an out of print
    one), and finding a very nice and inexpensive quartz crystal.  On
    the down siode was the drive (both ways), having a door catch me
    in the Achilles tendon (still have a scab on that one), and getting
    a rather nasty case of food poisoning.
    
    Every Yang needs its Yin, one supposes.

    I dropped her off at the airport to view the Barrier Reef and she's
    back for a night over the weekend.  Loving every minute of our changing
    climate.  Blue sky, black sky, high humidity, pouring rain, tired
    hostess, trying every Aussie delicacy known to man.  Buying every
    shop out, I know, cause I tried to carry her luggage :-) :-)
    
    So, give me a month to recover (my parents arrive the day after
    she departs) and let me know who's next!
    
    You will no doubt hear all.  If I can just recover the photos she
    took, after being out in the rain three times and trying to look
    animated over devonshire tea - yuk!

    The glorious and infamous Mikie? will be out of town starting next
    weekend, the 9th, through something like the 25th. I'll be in Fort
    Collins, Colo. for a couple days then it's off to New Mexico and the
    Four Corners area, Colo., Utah, New Mexico and Arizona. I'll be
    trapsing over Sante Fe and Albequerque then toodling up route 666.

    
    I (heart) Australia!
    
    Hi everybody - back from OZ and had a wonderful time!  Sydney is
    definitely a tourist paradise - they're all set up for the tourist
    trade.  If anyone is interested in going there, please feel free to
    contact me directly.
    
    Managed to cover most of Sydney - Opera house with performance of the 
    Jerusalem Passion (an OZ-written work), Art Gallery, The Rocks (wonderful 
    for shopping and they have this superb pancake house there for lunch
    and breckie), the Sydney harbor - one cruise and a ferry across the bay 
    - beautiful, Kings Cross (well, OK, I just rode the bus through there...
    (;^), Darling Harbor, the Taronga Zoo, and at least 100 other things.
    
    Left with some wonderful souvenirs - an Akubra hat (the kind that Paul
    Hogan wore in Croc. Dundee), a stuffed wombat (not real - 100% fake
    materials), a Victoria Bitter T-shirt (good beer that Vic stuff), lots
    of books, a couple of wooden Aboriginal carvings of animals (looks like
    Dino the dinosaur replicas in a strange way), a print of a McCubbin
    painting entitled "The Walaby Track" and bunches of books on OZ history
    and topics of this sort.
    
    Uh now - the truth be told - my suitcases weren't THAT heavy!  I didn't
    tell Dale, but the really large one had Mel Gibson in it...(;^). 
    Actually I did the bookselling stores in OZ a favor which accounted for
    most of the weight.  One was a beautiful Australian cookbook with some
    yummy recipes in it - lammingtons being one of the best (yellow cake
    squares dipped in warm chocolate icing, then rolled in coconut).
    
    Dale took me to the Blue Mountains which were indeed blue (condition
    brought about from the eucalyptus leaves which has the optical effect
    of making them look blue).  It was a foggy day but the color was still
    visible nonetheless.  Have a few pictures of us huddled around our
    devonshire tea (tea in a beautiful Victorian mansion/art gallery with
    scones and jam and creme whipped to light butter consistancy).  Mmmmm!
    
    Stopped in the office in Chatswood (used to work at GIA HQ and knew
    some of the people there) and found out that Australia employees get
    _their_ coffee, tea and bickies for FREE!  
    
    As for things metaphysical - managed to figure out what Aboriginal
    Dreaming was all about (purchased a book entitled "The Secret Of
    Dreaming" and read it - clever, huh! (;^).  Anyway, the message I was 
    left with was that we are only limited by the scope of our dreams.  
    Dream the dream, then work at making it happen, then live it and 
    continue to dream.

        Hi, this is me.  I must not be a sadist and I am no more
    masochistic than most (I didn't log in since .68.)  I had a great
    time.  
        Perhaps your folks weren't there specifically, but "folks" (as
    a general concept) were discussed at length.  The Intensive was
    massively valuable...also spent a nice day on the Ft. Lauderdale
    beach (and took advantage of 75 degree nighttime to do a meditation
    on the beach.)

    Here's the rest of the story:
    
    The choral group I sing with is doing an entire program of "Music From
    Royal Occasions" - all the pieces composed and sung at coronations from
    way back...from Handel to Mathias (Charles and Di).  And Perry and Elgar 
    too, including the famous wallowing graduation piece that we all know 
    over here in the states).  
    
    April 26th, St. Francis, Fitchburg, Mass., 4pm.  Tickets $7/$5.
    
    Our director, originally from Melbourne, OZ, studied in the UK and
    picked the program. Strange to sing "God Save The Queen", but the music 
    is a lot of fun.  I'll think of you guys while we perform!  (;^)

    Ok I'll bite.. Lately I've been dreaming all sorts of things,
    but the thing in common is the color RED (so I must dream in
    color, eh?) but besides that any ideas what it means?
    
    And I agree, I log in and it's no new notes.. pretty spooky
    in here..! ;-)

    Ooooo! Res means so many things ... but as with all dreams and symbols,
    it is whatever red means to you. Some people see red as a warning of
    danger ... I think of the root chakra first. (Love that Kundalini
    force!) Or maybe there is something you haven't REaD carefully enough
    and need to go back to for clues and answers to a current situation.
    Red is the general color for love (valentines), joy (as in candle
    magick), life force (Your bloodstream). Take a moment to see what pops
    into your head first when you think of the red theme.

    S-t-r-e-t-c-h.......
    
    Just spent a week out at Kripalu (a yoga ashram in Lenox, Mass.) and
    took their Danskinetics program.  2 hours of dance movement per day, 
    plus a vigorous yoga class in the afternoon, followed by a sauna and
    whirlpool visit...fabulous vegetarian meals...yep, I feel...
    
    ...like every part of me hurts.  (;^)
    
    No, really, I feel great.  It was wonderful.

    I wish that I knew you were there, I visited Kripalu on Saturday!  
    
    The Danskinetics program is great, I took my first Danskinetics class
    in October during Gurudev's Birthday weekend.  Natashvar (who originated
    Danskinetics) taught the class and it was really wonderful!  
    
    BTW, for those of you in Colorado, Natashvar is opening (or has opened) a
    Kripalu yoga center in Aspen, CO.  My mom, who teaches Kripalu yoga, is
    moving to Colorado in July and is planning on teaching yoga there or
    near Frisco.  It's a lot of fun and very relaxing!

    You had *Natashvar* for your first Danskinetics class???  WOW!!!
    He's incredible.  I've only ever seen him on tape - I use the
    intermediate tape quite a bit.  Last I'd heard, he was in Canada.
    Thanks for the pointer to Aspen.  I was registered for the Birthday
    celebration this last year, but had to cancel.  I did go to the 60th
    birthday gathering the year before. 
    
    I'll be there next in May/June, for the Beginner Sanskrit Intensive.

    Yes, I was quite lucky!  He was there for the week, and he brought
    along Woody Harrelson (from Cheers), who he has been teaching Kripalu
    yoga to for a while now.

Opened this notesfile after many years..... to say goodbye!
For those persons still remembering me: hi! - bye! :-)

I will leave Digital by november 1st, to start my own company in management
consultancy. You know: channeling managers and so. :-)

This notesfile holds a special place for me, both in what has been discussed
all those years, and in the friends that I have made through it. I haven't
been so much of a contributor, but I did read it daily for many years, and
had many off-line contacts around the topics discussed ;-).

Keep it going; till we meet again!
