| Well, I dunno. I've had a bunch, somewhere around 10 that I have
recorded. The most helpful thing is a vital interest that renews
itself after each experience. The other thing is disipline. I
don't think I have the desire to develop a real mental disipline
for this so I have lost interest for now.
My best guess is to develop a solid mental disipline and see what
happens. Also pick the technique that you are most comfortable
with.

| Thanks, but could you further define "mental discipline"? And also,
what were the conditions during the time in which you exited the
body? Were you asleep, meditating, conscious, or something else?

| In the "AWARENESS TECHNIQUES" they say you should start by having
someone run you thru it. They mean you should have another person
help you go thru it. Preferably a person who knows how. The books
describe how to run for the first time (run=obe). The person running
you has you ly down and relax, trying to clear your mind out
completely. Then he has you imagine that you are extending your
feet out of your physical body just a few inches then back to normal
and then starts with the fingers, then head. He has you do this
repeatedly for a while until you feel comfortable with it.
Now comes the real OBE. He now has you extend out of your body
straight up, Floating and has you describe what you see thru you
astral eye. Once you feel comfortable he has you leave the building
straight up about 100 feet and has you describe what you see, the
geography, ect. After all this you are ready to travel not only
to other locations but also to other times, and lives you have had.
I have never achieved anything that I feel was more than my
own vivid imagination in this. And that is where I have trouble
because my imagination is so great that I feel it's never real but
instead only what i choose it to be.
