| Hmm.
A question on the "Nuclear war" dream: There was some weeks ago
a movie or two on the off-network channels involving nuclear war
where the last scene was real desolation. My wife and I saw it,
and sporadically for a few nights afterwards she dreamed of a nuclear
war aftermath. I wonder if others saw this flick and/or spoke of
it or a similar film to others. (I however _didn't_ dream of nuclear
war.) If that's the case, it might be something akin to external
contagion.
On collective dreams: there may be several explanations for those,
ranging from an equivalent external seed to telepathic contact.

| Again, I think that this is one of those things that people don't notice
because they don't compare notes. I used to check with friends, and
observed that there was some clustering of intense dreams, but I never
tried to pinpoint a source. It's hopelessly muddled anyway. When a
significant fraction of the GNP is devoted to using the electronic and
print media to make people think the same thoughts ("You deserve a break
today!") there's no sorting out telepathy vs technology.

| Yes! My first husband and I once had the same dream. We did NOT
watch a television program beforehand, nor did we discuss what the
dream was about, but the dream was so intense that I woke up, rolled
over to make sure I had been dreaming, and found my husband doing
the same thing. I asked him if everything was okay, and he began
to describe the exact dream I had, only from his point of view.
It was uncanny! Never had that happen since, either.
