Sounds to be like your friend is doing some astral traveling and popping in
for a visit. If you find yourself a bit uncumfortable and feel he is around
then visualize yourself surrounded and your apartment filled with a brilliant
white light. This is the white light of the Christ (I am the way and the light)conciousness which is available for protection
and other uses.

Ray,

re: "handsome as the devil" and "sooo socially attractive". . .if you
want to get a hook into people, better have good bait, no? Sounds as
if your "friend" may just be doing that. . .out of curiosity, have you
had any unpleasant dreams yourself, or felt drained/tired?

I'll be curious to see Steve Kallis' reply to this; I'd be surprised
if he didn't have some good inputs as to what was going on here.

re: white light: can't hurt. And your roommate can help the clean-up
process by invoking white light, too. Visualize it around yourselves,
your rooms, your apartment/house. . .everywhere. And do it a lot, not
just once.

And. . .you may just want to remove this dude's name from your Christmas
card list. . .

In "The Book of Psychic Healing" (one author is Amy Wallace, of The
Book of Lists, and I can't remember the second author), a cleaning process
of removing psychic hooks/cords that are draining energy from you is
recommended. In a meditative state, take an inventory of yourself, and
"look" inside to see where the hooks are. With your new person here,
you may find some physical (lower chakra) hooks; there might also be
some emotional ones. Visualize yourself removing them and letting
them go back to their source.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

Hmmmmm. . . .

Let's see, first things first. Your cat. You're right, cats generally
don't like threatening presences, but remember, this guy is tied into
the occult pretty heavily, and just like Kim Novak in "Bell, Book, and
Candle," he most likely has a good rapport with animals (a.k.a. familiars).
The cat likes him when he's in the flesh. . .has your cat reacted to the
shadow figure?

The bracelet going phfft--I have some ideas but will defer my thoughts
until I can edit them down to reasonable length. Bear with me.

"Psychic leak"? Geez, call a plumber, quick, buddy (him, not you.) If
indeed your pal and his cronies are into drugs heavily with the occult,
that's like mixing your Porche 924 with a pint of Tanqueray and heading
north on the southbound side of 495 at 75 mph. Mixing the one with the
other is: very dangerous, tremendously irresponsible on their parts,
and worst of all, a major component in making this a crap shoot on
their part, they can't predict what will happen.

I make the semi-informed guess that he and his pals are heavily into
pleasures of the flesh, very animalistic in some ways--another reason
puddytat may take to him ("he's one of us!"). To use occult powers for
today's pleasures. . .well, I believe it's pay up now or later for him,
I believe you DO get back 3-fold what you give out. If I were he, I'd
be watching over my shoulder for the karmic boomerang. . .

Got anything else in the house of his? Send it back. . .and if he
has anything of yours, retrieve it.

Keep in touch. . .and talk to your cat about his choice of friends!

If Elana blushes during the reading. . .

. . .you'll know why!

I wish you could find his ex-roommate too. . .do you have even his
name?

I for one would be sleeping with a night light on by now. . .like,
a 75-watt one. . .[ :-) ]

By the way, did you do the white light as suggested?

I've been unavailable for a week or so, so I'm curious about a couple of items:
> ... were the pentagram pendant and rings he wore. ...
> ... he had some kind of makeshift alter [sic] and numerous books on spells,
>witchcraft, the occult in general, and a lot of artifacts. ...

Some details would be interesting. The pentagram, for instance:
was it point up or point down? Was it in a circle or not? The rings:
what were the designs on them? What were the "artifacts"? There are many
books on the subject: did he lean heavily towards Crowley, for instance?

I would have been more than a little careful about making (or keeping)
the acquaintanbce of anyone whose character made "my blood run cold."

From what you say of the person, he should be avoided in the future.
Also, I would go to a good occultist and/or clergyperson and have a little
spiritual cleansing done. Perhaps your sensitive friend can do it.

In addition to wqhite light, I'd suggest the following:

Cleanse an area in your home where you can be alone for an hour.
Prepare the area with a table with a white cloth, two white
candles, a Bible (if Judaeo-Christian) or equivalent holy relic, and an
incense burner.
Sunday morning, bathe thoroughly, then immediately proceed to the
area. Light the candles and medidate on the light (as opposed to the flame)
and concentrate on the thought of how light drives out things of darkness and
the night. Light incense, Sandalwood if possible, Frankincense as a second
choice (if using charcoal, you could also mix in Dragon's Blood resin). If
religious, use the following prayer.

O great [X], bringer of light, free me from the grip of darkness.
I am beset by forces beyond my power, I am victimized by evil.
Through Thy power, break the cords that bind me.
Free me to be in Thy light.
Through Thee, shall I find my way.
	Amen.

[For "X" insert the proper name of Whom you worship.]

If not religious, visualize a flaming sword moving around you
clockwise, cutting any bindings you have with the darkness.

Do this for the first hour of sunrise. Then withdraw from that
place and do your normal business for the day.

However, make sure there is no trace or relic of this person left in
your home afterwards. Otherwise, you may be vulnerable again.

Refering back to .8 I ask the question is all that rigamaroll necessary?

In the metaphysical environment that I have been exposed to we were taught
to use the white light of Christ as our protection because it was the
light of God and all that was necessary for protection from negative influances.
This combined with a little faith is all that is needed I believe.

Any comments.

RE; rigamaroll

The visualizations involved in any ritual, are a very potent part. Whether
you think it is all mumbo-jumbo or not, the human mind responds to ritual
(Catholic mass, Christmas Eve services, voodoo). I would think the clearer
the visualization of severance and banishing, the better chance of ending
the connection between Ray and his (?)friend(?).

This particular ritual may not sit well with you. Fine, adapt it or consult
someone in your "metaphysical environment" who can suggest a simliar ritual.

Re .9:

Given the conditions involved, I provided a strong and compre-
hensive means of banishing a condition that apparently already established
(what for want of a better lay term I'll call) a "psychic hook" in the
victim. Please note that the particular ritual is _not_ restricted to
Christians (although I happen to be one); the day and hour also have
particular significance that reinforce the overall idea.
Sometimes when you have a pain, all you need is aspirin; other
times, you might need something stronger.

    		i like that "Mc Prayer",

also Salt is fantastic cleansing stuff. (sea salt)
put a tad uder the door mat as well as little amouts around the house.
than bomb with Dragons blood and Frankincense <sp?>. that and a
loud anoying bannishing ritual can work wonders.

How can you tell if there is a psychic hook in you? I suspect one, but it is
located in a region that was also physically damaged in my youth, so I can't
tell if the pains a just arthritic in nature or the hook (if it is there). I
have had other sensatives look at it and try to remove it, but it is like a
nasty burr, wrapped into the muscle. They can only drain away the "dirty"
part of the aura around it. Could the bond be broken but the hook remain?

Thanks,
Beth

If you truly break the bond, the hook is gone.

>>Possible past life influences, as well.

Creapy thought, but seems to "ring a bell"???? Now that you got me thinking
about it, the personality attached to the bond seems to resemble one from a
"memory" (and a not too distint past one, say the previous incarnation).

Ah well, it'll get worked out somehow, I'm sure (and usually in a way that is
best all around, although not how I might initially perceive what would be
best).

Thanks,
Beth
