272.0. "GIANTSMANIA....THE PLAN" by PARVAX::WARDLE (Counting the cars on the NJ Tpk...) Tue Jun 19 1990 15:00

    GIANTSMANIA TICKETS ARE IN !!!!!

Due to the huge turnout (36 attendees), I was able to qualify for group
sales. No discount, but we do get our name on the scoreboard. When they
asked me for the group name, I told them "OURGNG's JETS FANS". Sound
    ok?

    The seating is as follows:

SECTION 205 (corner of the visiting teams end zone, mezzanine)

    ROW 1, seats 3 - 16
    ROW 2, seats 1 - 17
    ROW 3, seats 1 - 5

    		front of Mezzanine--------------------------------------------

    row one X X X X X X X X X X X X X X
    row two	X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X
    row three X X X X X

I wanted three rows of 10 and a row of 6, but it wasn't possible.
Apparently they had a big day at the box office yesterday.

Tix were $26.00 + $2.00 svc charge on total. So you guys owe me 2
    bucks, ok? 8^)

Should we hold a seat lottery?

JoJ, I hope it said OURGNG GIANTSMANIA or some such thing :^)

    The seating is as follows:

> SECTION 205 (corner of the visiting teams end zone, mezzanine)

	Jet's Endzone - figures :^)

    ROW 1, seats 3 - 16

This is NOT prime seating, if past GIANTSMANIA tales are true. Looks
like the section where the iced tea gets dumped :^)

> Should we hold a seat lottery?

If there is a group of 5, they MIGHT want those seats. Otherwise
a lottery would probably be good - just let KODinz pick first :^)

JoJ, Slasher, Dan and pick one and get back to me by the end of next week

Talked to my buddy at the sporting goods store and 10 dollar t-shirts will
not be a problem. Time will be as they have draw up the screens for the
t-shirts because to use official licensed products would cost us a bundle..
All I have to do is give him a rough draft of what I want then he has some
guy draw them up at 15 bucks a screen. Basically every different color you
use requires a different screen. Shirt design I have thrown at you guys
before but now is the time to vote or else...

front of shirt will be both teams' helmets facing one another with wording
Giantsmania August 25,1990 Giants vs Jets

back will a picture of the stadium perhaps an x to mark our seats and one
 of the following sayings

   1. Battle for the swamplands, better than the superbowl

   2. Caution I stop for all beer stand and "10's"

   3. Jimmy Hoffa lives....

so vote if you have a preference....

Recent surveys indicate that 98.75% of the male population in
North America has a hairy butt. That leaves just a 1.25% chance
that I'm wrong about JoJ's butt.

Now, it just so happens that 1.25% is about the same chance that
the Jets have of making it to the Super Bowl this year.

At any rate, I made a_educated guess about the hair content of
JoJ's butt.

Now, if you want some more dastisticks, I can tell you that of
the remaining 1.25% of the male population, .70% have naturally
smooth hairless butts. These are referred to in the article
as "Baboon Butts".

The remaining .55% shave their butts. Now, of the .55%, approximately
.20% use a blade, the remainder use an epilator.

As far as the researchers knew, none of the male population in
North America waxes their butts.

Hope this shleppign wonked you out deen,

Okay, It's a 22ft Blazon.

It sleeps 2 over the cab, 2-3 in the dinnette area (seats/table fold down)
and 2 over the dinnette area.

It has a 2 way fridge, stove, oven, hot/cold water, toilet/shower, air
conditioning (110v).

It's owned by a friend of mine who bought it last winter and has
sunk some major change into restoring it to better than new
shape.

The cost: $25.00 per day and a full tank of gas when we bring it
back.

You guys are lucky to be traveling into White Castle territory. The
burgers there give a new meaning to the word greasy. The first time
that I ate there, I thought that my burger was a cheeseburger, but it
was just a reg. burger with a grease soaked bun. I soon learned that
the greasier they are, the better. By the way , I hear the girls in

Mike, I'm no expert, but I can tell you this.

UPS will charge you an arm and a leg (and perhaps an ear lobe) to
send anything.

US Air Mail is cheaper.

Make sure you put on it that it's a gift, so the people don't get
stuck with customs charges. The individuals from each country can
tell you specifically how to deal with that....

Good question Ninja I'm not really sure. I guess part of it might have been
the fact that we got split up out in the parking lot plus Dinz is on vacation
this week. The Jets were so putrid that Dan didn't even get a chance to do
the teapot cheer. No one dared to give JD an Ice Tea. Don't know what when
on at the the hotel as I didn't say...

I guess the highlight for me was Dinz and myself kicking Wardle and Bucky's
butt inside out in hoops. If the hoop had been three FT. wide JoJstill would
have missed it. Dinz didn't miss too many bunnies and I of course looked
like Barkley on the glass and Magic with the passes... ;^)

Ok John, Here you go.

I drove down with Dinz, /Don and a couple of non-deccies. On the
way down I mention that Marilyn and I are expecting our first
baby in Febuary.

One of the other guys asked if I planned on going into the
delivery room. I said that I'm planning on it. He went on to say
that it's quite an experience and than went into some detail
including that the doctors had asked him if he like to cut the
umbilical cord.

Dinz pipes in and agrees that it's quite and experience and that
he was glad he was there for the birth of his daughter, Courtney, then
mentions that when the doctor asked him to come over and cut the
umbilical cord, he looked down and thought he had a boy!

We were rolliinnngggg.

Bobcat Goldthwait has two different jokes regarding the cutting of
umbilical cords in the delivery room ...

    1) Doctor asked me if I wanted to cut the cord so I asked: "Isn't
there anyone here a little more qualified?"

    2) Doctor asked me if I wanted to cut the cord so I said: "Sure, if
you'll knock $200.00 off my bill."

I was "there" for all three of my daughters' births. Didn't cut no
cords, though. Too busy with the camcorder saying "C'mon, gimme a big
    smile, honey." :-) :-)

/Don, c'mon, give us the dirt! And, how about a little more info
on those phone calls to the "front desk"?

The most boring trip in the world can be transformed to a memorable
event when the Dinz is along. :*)

Might I remind you that the score of the Reds game was

	Sheffield United 1 Liverpool 3

So, Arsenal is ahead on goal difference.

It's gonna be a dogfight dude -- count on it!

Yeah /Don. If I only could have had that body of yours, I'd have
    been even better. :-)

I wanted to edit my last note, but screwed up. Oh well.

Like I said, those poor subway patrons were practically bowing at
the shrine of the GIANTSMANIA messiah. :-)

"Wow, you went to dat game man?"

"Yeah," I says, "now git the f*&# outta my way!"

It was great. Youse guys(/Don, the Woosta man, JD, Waddle, Dinz,
Darryl, Hawksta, Saw - especially that Saw dude :-)) ought ta be
sent up da river to Bellevue. And I wouldn't dare miss it again next
    year. :-)

Glen, how could you possibly be impressed by 'Saw? He was
speaking some foreign language by 3pm and sleeping by 11:30. :^>
If ya want impressive, just conjure up that image of JD
snappin' the habachi grill with his foot. Talk about rippling
    calf muscles :^>

GL, you definitely deserve the Manis Medal of Honor for not only
surviving the Giantsmania drunkards, but the NYC Subways and the Port
Authority at that hour of the morning! CONGRATS!

Classic line from GL as I worriedly cautioned him about the seedy
characters he'd likely run into at the Port Authority....... "Look at
me- why would they bother me?" It took my lame brains cells a minute,
    then I was rollward! :-)

Hey Bull~, I hear that Motel Hell called in a SWAT team to remove your
    underwear from the lampshade! :-)

GL, are you sure that you wanna party with *those* animals again nexted
    year? :-)

re JD and the grill:

	Here's the snap....JD fades back...oh no, he's under pressure,
it's Bubba from the right side, here's the hit, no wait, he
turns to scramble -SNAP- right into the habachi!!!!

re the Saw:

Even as the Manis(tm) progressed I was getting sicker by the
minute. The vicious cold that finally caught up to me on
Monday really hit me on Saturday night. Just after the
game it felt like a freight train hit me....

re JD and the Bataan Death March:

Good point. Actually, JD was the first of the Manis(tm)
participants to arrive, and we made him do the Hotel Hell
	Death March early on.....

    Glen,

The NYC subway ride to Yonkers couldn't have been that bad, after all
you were well conditioned for it after the round-about way Waddle used
to get us to basketball courts. :-)

The ride to the basketball courts reminded me of my high school days.
Pack the car with a bunch of drunk guys, laugh about anything, and piss
    off the driver.

How'd the grunts over at Motel Hell take the borrowing of the

Haven't heard anything Daryll. I left it at the stadium...

It would been kinda funny to put it back on the bed....8^)

As to Bull's underwear, I heard they had to cordon off an area
three miles wide, evacuate innocent men, women and children, and
then bring in some of those robot vehicles that they are using
to clean up Three Mile Island.....
