Along with the featured stars, other former greats who regularly play with the
Boston Bruins Alumni are Don Marcotte, John McKenzie, Ace Bailey, Gary Doak,
Frank Simonetti and Tom Songin. And behind the bench, look for real
old-timers like Ed Sanford and Woody Dumart. There will be giveaways and
raffles of sticks and jerseys from current and former NHL greats and the games
are always a great time. So come on out for a night of fun and reminiscence!

And listen to WHOB 106.3FM for details concerning an on-air auction of
autographed jerseys from Ray Bourque and Cam Neely!

127.1Thanks for your support!REORG::LEPINEThu Feb 15 1990 17:4919
A quick word of thanks to all of you who bought tickets or otherwise helped
support the Gate City Regional Youth Hockey Association in this enormous
fund-raising effort. I am pleased to report that through your support and
generosity our Bruins Alumni fund-raising effort was a tremendous success.

As all of you who play hockey or have children who play hockey are aware, the
costs of the sport are very high on a per-capita basis. With the money raised
in this and all of our fund-raising efforts we are able to keep these costs
down for our youth and strengthen our scholarship program making our wonderful
sport available to increasing numbers of children in the greater Nashua area
each year.

Once again, on behalf of myself, GCRYHA and all of the Gate City Wings

                            THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!

                                                                        Norm

Are the Bruins still in first? What do their chances look like for the
    playoffs this year?

Hockey news is thin around here.

They are in first overall and lead the Adams by 3 pts over Buffalo. They
have been guarenteed a playoff spot for about two weeks now.

Broons have the longest consecutive streak of years in the playoffs
in pro sports, must be about 23 years now!

The top 4 teams in the Adams Division are guaranteed playoffs spots
now because Quebec has already been eliminated.

    Denny,

Of course, the Rangers have won 0, but may 2nd fav team, the Habs,
have won a 'few' in that era. Anyway, since the Broons have the
bested record, they are the favorites to win the Cup (though I'm
sure Broon fans will think of a way to make someone else the fav)
and I anxiously await them to choke in the playoffs.

    Mac,

The Rangers swept the Bruins this year - first time in 64 seasons.
I was pleasantly surprised to see them win big - but the Broons
were at the end of a long road trip.

I;m surprised the Rangers are in first in their division - though
I don't expect much from them in the playoffs. Someday they will
win it all - hopefully in my lifetime. Between them and the BoSox,
it's been a long time since a champeenship. My father was 7 years
old the last time the Rangers won it all.
