According to the ticket office, the tickets "just" came back from the
printers. So, if you ordered by FAX, the tickets will be mailed out
    this week. FWIW /jb

The Red Sox may have the tickets, but you can bet they will hold the tickets
that the season ticket holders purchased until late March or early April.

If they just got the tix from the printer, one wonders what they gave the
people who showed up at the window on Jan 18.

544.17Got the tickets from FAX order - but where are they?ZEKE::ASCHNEIDERAndy Schneider - DTN 381-1696Mon Feb 03 1997 12:0610
Well - got my tickets on Saturday (2/1). I had placed the order via
FAX on that Friday, Jan 10. I got what I asked for - 4 upper box
seats for the kids opening day on 4/13 against Seattle. One
question - these are in box 92 (Sect 6) - the seats are in row "E".
Does this mean they're 5 rows from the bottom, or some other
scheme? I'm used to bleacher and grandstand numbering.....

    thanks!

I think the upper boxes start with A closest to the field. However,
note that section 6 is way-the-heck-over in right field. It may be in
    fair territory; not sure.

PS: I got mine too. Asked for right field roof one day and got the
front row, in-most seats. Asked for 6 in June, no specs. Got row 17
in section 18 (back a ways, but nice section).

544.19Kids have different "needs" than I do...ZEKE::ASCHNEIDERAndy Schneider - DTN 381-1696Wed Feb 05 1997 13:039
Great - 5 rows from the field is great. The kids will love
it (last time we were in the boondocks). Section 92 is in fair
terratory at that point - right underneath the right-field pole
(general area). A bit far perhaps - but the kids won't care
    at this point.

    thanks!

    re .19,

If you have access to the web check out www.nesn.com. There is a
section called "Take a seat". That has seating charts for various NE
stadiums. For Fenway park they even show you a view of the field from
the various sections. Section 92 view shows a view of looking right
down the RF line toward home plate. As you said under the RF foul pole
    but in fair territory.

I've looked at this, and it's pretty cool. It doesn't do my seats
(Section 35) justice, though... everything looks way too small,
although that's probably the case with all the pix. There's also
no differentiation between, say, the front of the RF bleachers
versus the back wall, which is the biggest contrast in the entire
    ballpark.

Actually, the nesn thing is just a link to www.redsox.com/blah-blah,

They use a wide angle lens to give you the best "picture" of what you'll
see. Unfortunately the depth is blown a bit out of proportion. From section 92
the players don't look quite that small. Enjot the season.
