| I recently saw some of the Standards Live video, and found myself
thinking that I'd really like to hear these guys playing something
other than standards. So I picked up "Changeless".
For me, this was a mistake. I didn't realize that the title was to
be taken literally - every track is an improvisation which stays
strictly in one mode. I have zero tolerance for this sort of thing.
(If your tolerance for it is higher, this CD is yours for $5 - send
e-mail if interested).
Anyway, now I'm back to my original hankering to hear these guys play
something else. Does anybody know what "Changes" is like? Or how
about "Tales Of Another" (an old Gary Peacock recording with the same
personnel)?

I checked out "Changes". I like it a lot except for one thing:
Jarrett's "vocalizations" make it sound like Jerry Lewis was having
simultaneous attacks of asthma and dementia right next to the piano
mic. They are ongoing, and they're much too loud to ignore.
Can anyone rate any of these CDs according to how disruptively Jarrett
yelps, groans, gasps, etc. on them?
