probably the biggest come from behind win in NHL playoff history and
    nobody has anything to say?

I knew this team would do well. That Glen Sather, he knows what he's
    doing.

Both Dallas and Edmonton have it turned up a notch. The intesity of
both teams makes for good hockey.

The Oilers weren't even in the game. I was having trouble staying
awake watching this game. Dallas dominated from the drop of the puck to
the 16 minute mark of the third. Then the Oilers get one on a weak
backhand. Thirty seconds later, Dallas takes an inteference penalty
(bad call in my opinion) and before you know it, it's 3-2. The fans
haven't sat down yet when Grier lets a seeing eye shot go from the blue
line. Brand new game. I kept thinking about all of the people who
left the game early (and there were many).

The overtime was great. It's a good thing that they didn't go to
replay on the winner. There was an Oiler with his foot in the crease.

    Bernie.
559.13I meant Ottawa, not Calgary!KAOFS::LOCKYERPCs & Religion - Both Just Faith, NOT Fact!Tue Apr 22 1997 01:0611
The local (Calgary) paper commented about all the tickets the cops
probably handed out as the folks learned about the come back. They
also said the doormen didn't stamp anyone's hands (so they could
re-enter the arena), but they let them back in anyway.

Seems the Calgary media is cheering for all the Canadian teams now,
particularly Calgary. Oops, on sencond thought, they don't seem to be
    behand Montreal...

I beleive it was Bernie who in another note said "anyone who's been
following the series know Dallas should advance". You were absolutely
right. Dallas is the better team and they dominated the OT, but....
    CUJO, CUJO, CUJO...

The better team did not win. But the team with the better goalie did.
In the playoffs, goaltending is what decides who wins the cup, in most
instances. And goaltending made the difference in two games last night.
Tugnut was not as sharp as he is capable of, and as result let in two
goals that cost Ottawa a chance to advance. On the other hand, Curtis
Joseph made great saves in the 3rd period and OT to advance the Oilers.

Anyway you look at it, it was great hockey last night.

Another game where Dallas dominated only to be denied by Curtis Joseph.
The save he made in the overtime was unreal. Fifteen seconds later
    Marchant scores for the Oilers!

Oh! Well. I hope you enjoy the 'win' or 2 that the Oilers will get
cause they sure as hell won't get 4.

Andy, In the land of Cubs what do you expect from me?? 8*) I am so used
to rooting for losing teams (I am not a pro basketball fan so the Bulls
don't count to me) that if the Hawks ever win you will be able to hear
across the continent. Until then you'll just have to listen to my

    Glenn,
Don't be so close minded. Big money is ruining all major
North American sports. It' ain't just hockey in Canada. For other fine
examples take a close look at Major League Baseball and the NFL.

Actually, I know what ya meant but I felt like playing devil's
    advocate. ;-)
