A tender spec reads as follows -
"Line Printer for Chinese Pay-slip
Line speed (800 lpm or above)
Continuous Paper feed mechanism
Drivers required
Chinese printing / internal code capability
Chinese fonts support
Support printing of pay-slip in multi-pile concealed envelope"
Primarily, the printer should be a line, or a line matrix printer
which should be able to print conventional or simplified Chinese
at 800 lines per minute.
Is anyone aware of a Digital or third-party printer that can
achieve this. This is urgently needed for a tender clarification.

There is only a line matrix printer, called LA 380, which is able to
print Simplified Chinese Character and Korean Character at 350 lines per
minute.
