3130.0. "error FBR-E-INTERNAL_ERROR 04154AB4 on trade post or fetch" by EVTAI1::5dhcp36.evt.dec.com::gramain (Simon) Fri May 16 1997 12:40

		Hi

We have the following error messages during "Trade post" or "trade fetch"
commands :
             FILEBRIDGE Version V2.1A
                   MAP LOG                       15-MAY-1997 17:30:31.50

FileBridge Table File:
Application File: JUPITR$DKA0:[EDI_ETU.LAB1.PIERRE]ARCDEEDI.DAT;
%FBR-E-INTERNAL_ERROR, FileBridge Internal Error
-NONAME-F-NOMSG, Message number 04154AB4
%FBR-E-ABORT, Operation Aborted

What does it mean ?

Mapping tables were not modified and worked properly before this error
appeared during the last night.
Since, no document can be posted or fetched.

This error means that FileBridge (the mapper) has come
to an unrecoverable error, and aborted.

Does this occur if you do not use /debug=<debug_file>
on the command line?

If it does not occur without /debug then the problem is
that the first record in the application file does not
conform to the record layout of the first record in the
record sequence structure defined in the map.
(i.e. Invalid Hierarchy error)

I suggest checking the dat file against the record layout.

The workaround is to avoid using /debug= until you are
sure that the first record in the dat file matches its
record layout in the map.

This is a known problem that the mapper and has been
fixed in a future release.

If the above workaround does not work then:

Please log an IPMT with the following information:

Map (.fbo)
Data file (ARCDEEDI.DAT)
Command used to invoke mapper (trade post ...)

Thanks
