2988.0. "Filebridge recieve failing with a ERRACCIHF error" by GIDDAY::REID (David Reid,CSC,Sydney DTN 730-7233) Wed Jan 29 1997 03:48

Customer is running DEC/EDI V1.3a all modules on single node, Vms V5.5-02.
They are sending and receiving documents. The send and receive is done via
detached processes using the Filebridge API (FB V1.0-09). I think the
receive process spawns a batch job to do the actual FB receive command.

Problem: The FB receive is failing with a ERRACCIHF error logged in the
error log and in the FB MAP debug file. In the error log this error is
followed by an informational message saying EOF. Outbound processing is
working fine.

Analysis: I have run DECEDI$CHECK_WF which completed successfully and
restarted DEC/EDI. No change to receive problem. I checked all the incoming
DEC/EDI documents (none missing) at available status and they looked OK. No
corruption or anything strange in the IHF files. The error message does not
indicate the file the error is logged against. The FB output files are being
created OK but with no records.
Stopping and starting DEC/EDI does not rectify the problem or rebooting the
system. As far as possible I checked the accounts the detached processes are
running on and they appear to have the correct privilages, directorys etc.
They run under an account in the same group as DEC/EDI. Cust say they have
changed nothing on the system.

Had Customer add additional translators through Filebridge and shut old EDIFACT
process down - seems to have solved problem.....why??

Any thoughts...ideas....

Hi,

Sorry, no idea from me.

LEt us know if it happens again.

That's very old Software, neither is really supported any more.
