Conference ssdevo::colorado

This conference will be moving to SSDEVO:: soon.  Watch this space for the
announcement as to when this will happen and what you will need to do to
still have access to it after the move.

I got word the COLORADO notes conference will be moving this Friday, 
14-Feb-1997, which BTW is Valentine's Day (for those that forgot and 
need to know).  COLORADO will become unavailable Friday morning, at 
8:00 am and may be NOT be available for access the whole day.  There 
is a mass move to SSDEVO and compression happening to all conferences 
that reside on GENRAL.  I'm the moderator of 15 of the ones moving.  :-(

You will need to modify your notesbook entry by using this format:

	MODIFY ENTRY conf_name/FILE=new_conf_location

So if you have COLORADO as your conference name, do the following at your 
notes prompt:

	MOD ENT COLORADO/FILE=SSDEVO::COLORADO

See you at the new location, hopefully later in the day Friday or next 
Monday morning (17-Feb-1997).

This may come as a shock to some but my last day at DIGITAL will be Thursday,
the 13th of March 1997.  I am looking for a replacement moderator for this
notes conference.  If you are interested, please contact me by 11-MAR-1997.  
I have spoken with the system people here and they have no problem with the 
conference remaining on SSDEVO:: and someone remotely moderating from another 
system.

If someone does not take over moderation, there is the possibility of this 
conference closing.  So speak up to keep COLORADO live.

    Well, since I have taken over moderatorship I have tried to maintain
    a minimalist view of things.  However, there are established rules
    that, although I myself have sometimes taken exception to them,
    have to be maintained.  Either because they are mandated by Digital,
    or have been established for "Colorado Notes".

    One of these is the use of "obscenities".  This includes, but is not
    limited to "the seven dirty words" as George Carlin puts it.  

    In order to protect our further usage of these files, and because
    I have never found that the subject could not be communicated just 
    as well without them, _please_!! refrain from such usage.
