After reading an article in Sunday's Worcester T&G, it sounds like
Arena Football is coming to Central Massachusetts. I guess the Detroit
Drive, winners of 3 of the last 4 arena football championships, is
leaving Motor City bound for Wormtown (aka Worcester).

No, I haven't had the time.

Plus, it's a toss up at this point if I'm even free that night. We've got
jobs almost every weekend between now and the 4th of July, including
a couple of night ones, and I know I have one free weekend.

What I don't know at this point is if it is 5/14 or 5/21. I *think* I'm
free that evening, but I'm not sure. I know one of those days I've
have two jobs, one morning, one evening. I'll know tonight which day
it is....

The Marauders get torched by the Firebirds in their only exhibition
game of the season 46-26. Don Stock, coach of the Marauders, chalked
it up to starting camp a week late due to their bye in the first week
of the season. Mike Pagle of Indy Colts "fame" looks to be the
    starting QB for the Marauders.

The Marauders are training in Phoenix. Their first 3 games will be on
the road in Las Vegas, ?, and Phoenix.

They didn't get much of a crowd on Saturday night, judging from the report
I saw on the news.

Of course, they wanted $11, $16, $21 for tickets, which to me is a
bit pricey for what they were offering in terms of entertainment....

Does anyone have the Mass Marauders home schedule? I know that the
first home game is Friday night. Is anybody going? I just ordered
season tickets so I will be there. I heard that a bar near the Centrum
will have a pre-game party and that also 1/2 hour before the game there
will be a indoor fireworks and lightshow display at the Centrum.

Luis Zendejas was supposed to be washed up. He was 0-4 from beyond 45
yards last year. In the upset over Mass. this weekend, he hit a
50-yarder for the win. Not bad considering the crossbar is only 9
    feet.

He probably had a lot of practice since lasted year kicking beer cans
    across his living room.

Arena Ball, BFD, I could kick a 50 yarder in a living room type
environment...short field, indoors, living room carpet, just no wife
there to run and get ya another beer.

doesn't matter how short the field is, it was still a 50-yarder through
9 ft. wide uprights. there's only a select few hitting 50-yarders in
    domes in the NFL.

Albany wound up clinching their division and the #2 seed in the
playoffs. Eddie Brown ended the season with 101 receptions and
48 touchdowns, both league records. Mike Perez could have broken
the yardage record, but sat out the 2nd half against Charlotte to
the backup some work. He was short by 52 yards I think. Anyone
have the matchups for the weekend? I know Albany plays the #7
