in a close fight.

Sam was pretty good, HoF in fact.

But the NFL doesn't use him for a logo so I guess that Jerry's still the
bestest from West Virginee.

Yabbut, that homerun in Game 7, 1960 has to rank as one of baseball's
most memorable....

West never did THAT 8^)    

One of my earliest recollections of sports was Maz's homer against the
Yankees (I believe) to win the series.

Wasn't it about the same time that Harvey Haddix pitched 12 perfect
innings and lost the game in the 13th?

Someone else in the news a lot who's from W.Va. is Rod Thorn, he of
handing out NBA fines and suspensions fame.

    Game 5 of the 1970 Finals, West hit a 55 footer to tie the game. Knicks
    won in OT. That was the game that the Lakers led by 17, Willis Reed got
    injured, but the Knicks still pulled out the win.

What do I feel lucky about?

Well, let's see.    If feel lucky that I'm healthy and able to get around
and do stuff.   I saw a guy last night at the concert who was stuck
in a wheelchair, barely able to function, and I thought about how fortunate
I am to be able to do something as simple as walk.

I'm lucky that I have people who care about me and care about what happens
to me.

I'm lucky because I have good friends, who are always there for me.

And I guess I'm lucky because I can look at all the problems in my
life, and when I think really hard about it, I realize that there are folks
out there who have far more and far worse problems than I do....


So, yeah, I guess I feel lucky.....8^)

	I was 14 at the time, going to school in Ft.Worth. Skipped school to go
downtown for a parade in his honor. We had been back at school about an hour

         Next thing you know Jack Ruby has offed Oswald and the rumors began
flying about a conspiracy. Lots of speculation about LBJ and others. It was also
a little strange when Oswalds wife married a FBI man the next year. 

	Some of the rumors could have been disspelled if John Connelly's
 family had allowed an autopsy to verify the bullet fragments logged within

GEEzzusss I'm out of action for a day, and TCM goes nuts.

All of a sudden he thinks he's a grammar and usage expert, is takin' over the 
'Cadets, and worst of all, dissin' mah main dr. a.  I'll have you know TCM that
the good doctor conducts daily clinics out of the LKG facility on how to run
fast.  I'm sure the doc is too shy to state his accomplishments, unlike a

Fun.

Me and 13,000 of my closest friends, packed into downtown Boston.  I took off
with one of the women on the Digital team, and stayed with her through the 
firsted half of the race.  She ended up second woman, about 5 seconds back.
I ended up running a little over 5:50 per mile, 20:30 for the race.  A tad
better than lasted year.

    I heard on WEEI last nite that Michael Irvin has guaranteed that Dallas 
    will win their 3rd Superbowl in a row.....did anyone else hear anything 
    along that line.........I kinda like it that he steps forward and makes 
    a statement like that seeing that Jimmy Johnson isn't around this year

I attended a party recently very similar only the ages were approximately
10-11.  It was at a place called the Super Club, and it was neat.  The kids
did an obstacle course, played volleyball, and soccer....  Then there
were party rooms too.....
