I recently bought several boxes of CORBON ammo at the gun
show in Manchester, NH. The rounds were loaded with NOSLER
balistic Tip bullets. Package was printed 2400 FPS.
Sounds like someone decided to Pre-package a good hunting round.
    Price was $ 13.00 for a box of 20.

As the date of this reply, there seems to be more and more
762x39 available from the domestic manufacturers like Winchester
and Remington. Brass can also be had for reasonable prices.

There is still a fair amount of 762x39 from places like the
sportsman's guide. There is also another place called
"Cheaper than Dirt" that sells Seiller & Bellot for 125.00
for a case of 900. Looks like East German stuff cleaned up
    and re-packaged.

My concern about the Nosler, is that their 7.62 bullets are .308 while
nearly all (except the mini 30 by Ruger) rifles are chambered and bored
for bullets in the .311 range. I believe Sierra makes SPT's in .311
and Speer in .310 ( in the ~125 gr bullet weight that the round was
    designed for).
