2633.0. "DBM-F-NORTUPB on multiple DBs" by ORAREP::FUTURE::GIANTONIO () Wed May 21 1997 17:58

Hi,
We have been experiencing the error DBM-F-NORTUPB on both our
production application DBMS databases today. This past weekend, we upgraded to
SEPS97. If it was just one database, I wouldn't be so concerned.
Before I modify the user count, is there anything else which could be
causing this problem?

Thanks,
Ron

What version and how many users and how many nodes is the database configured
to have?

Liz

    Hi Liz,
This is a SEPS97 environment which run DBMS 6.1 on Open VMS 6.2.

    	DATABASE OMAR	SR126
    	MAX USER 300	80
    	MAX NODES 16	16

We are shutting down OMAR right now. I am going to modify user
    count to 400.

    Thanks,
    Ron

It is most likely due to your users getting more concentrated on one or
a few nodes after the upgrade.
