| Firstly, LF is a perfectly valid character in IA5, so there's a problem with the
recipient's system if the presence of such a character prevents them
"interpreting" (what do you mean by that?) the message.
Next, maybe the Latin1 bodypart starts with a blank line? That could explain
why the IA5 bodypart does too. Is there anything else unusual about the Latin1
bodypart?

| LF is a perfectly valid character in IA5. But the recipient's system is an
EDI-system and EDI has the problem with LF at the begin of that document.

the Latin1 bodypart does not start with a blank, but after converting to IA5
the customer founded a LF at the begin!!
why does the isolatintoia5 converter inserts a LF??
