733.0. "Starting a SAP TP from the IBM system" by 31392::OMARADA () Wed Feb 12 1997 20:06
Hello,
I'm Dan O'Mara with the Digital SSNA support (CSC/MA) group.
I have a customer that is trying to start a Transaction Program on
Digital Unix from their IBM system (CICS). We have the connection
established using the Peer Server Gateway and LU6.2 Server V3.0. The
IBM side sends a bind, we +RSP the bind. The IBM side sends a request
for the transaction program and we send back a sense code (1008 6021,
Transaction Program name not recognized). I believe that we need to
have the transaction program defined in SAP but I don't know how that
is done. We did setup a section in the side info file for the
transaction program. SAP uses CPIC, in LU6.2 we would define a TP with
a parameter that stated it will be started by the attach manager. We
do have an attach account setup.
Any information would be helpfull.
Thank You
Dan O'Mara
