Hello,

the 32-bit SAPGUI on the presentation CDs of SAP is
Intel only. It does not exist a 32-bit SAPGUI for NT-Alpha.
There are also no plans to port the 32-bit GUI to NT-Alpha
in the future. (By the way, no 32-bit Intel code run on
NT-Alpha).

Use the 16-bit SAPGUI for NT-Alpha it works fine.

    Hello !

For normal administration tasks the 16Bit intel one is OK, but you will
get still some strange DLL errors when you run the SAPGUI graphics
    (like within CCMS,...)

Generally said a local SAP gui on an Alpha NT server should not be used
for customizing,... use a PC instead.

Probably no customer would be so crazy to have hundreds of Alpha
stations running SAPGUI, so having only the Intel one makes perfectly
sense from the view of Digital & SAP.

Btw. I think with NT 4.0 there are some changes on the Intel
emulator so maybe the situation will improve further.

I've been using the 32-bit intel version of the sapgui on my alphastation
running
NT 4.0. You also have to be running the FX!32 product.

It's not an ideal solution but it's a solution nonetheless.
