| Spoiler ahead. Actually, won't spoil it if you've already seen the
preview...
I've often said that I thought B-5 was the first American produced
British science fiction show. Normally, I mean this as a Good Thing,
but not when it means stealing Monsters from the Dr. Who prop room...
This one, I just couldn't believe.

Just who is Garibaldi (sp) working for?
Maybe because I don't want him to be a bad guy but I hope he is working
for Sheridan, the way Sheridan has been picking on him could be a cover
or just soar grapes on Sheridan's part, on the other hand, there is the
time he spent being interrogated by the (psicor?) when something could
have been planted. There is no way you can make me beleive they did not
know that Lisa and Michael knew one another. Some one wants
Michael working for her husband, is it the psicor, Clarke or Sheridan?
I am sure that was a look of satisfaction on his face when he got the
offer to go to Mars.
Will we see more dirty tricks from Clarke now that they have the broadcast
station up and running om B5, I like the way she made a point of saying
that Clarke had arranged to do away with his predecessor.

| Hmmm, shouldn't 128.2 actually be a reveiw/spoilers for Conflicts of Interest,
rather than Lines of Communications??? Garibaldi does not appear in
Lines of Communications, other than a mention from Delenn. Any moderators
interested in moving the note?
Having said that, luckily I didn't see anything that would spoil the
episode for me (since I'd already been a bit spoiled by looking around
at the tvguide web site...)
But as for Lines of Communications
spoilers

Interesting, but still a bit slow for me. The stuff on Mars is still
moving towards action (well, I guess Steven is getting some) and we
hardly see much of anything going on B5 itself. While the Minbari/Drahk
stuff was ok, it was also a setup for Delenn going back to Minbar.
I'm not quite sure I'd say the Drahk seemed right out of Dr. Who, but
it was a strange effect that I'm not sure worked quite right. It seems
the effect was to show something that doesn't quite occupy the same
space/time as us, but it just came off a bit wierd. And some people have
wondered why the White Star didn't just blast the mother ship from the
start instead of racing ahead of it and blocking it from the jumpgate.
I don't know off hand. Seems like a reasonable question. I guess one could
make the argument that it would have been less effective for the White Star
ship to fire on a retreating enemy, if the power beam diminishes over
distance. But I'll wait to see if jms or George Johnsen has anything to
say on this one. Next week seems a bit more action packed, with Garibaldi
and Zack? maybe, facing off each other. And some interesting guest stars,
as shown in tv guide (don't look if you don't want to be spoiled!)
