On Wednesday, 5-Mar-1997, we will release PTR V2. For a summary of the new
features in V2, click on the "What's new in PTR/WEB" on your PTR V1.2 home
page or copy the presentation from ENGPTR::PTR$PUBLIC:PTRV2.PS.
PTR V2 is now available from the external web, and the IPMT bridge is in field
test.
If you would like to take a look at PTR V2, the URL is:
http://engptr.zko.dec.com:8050/
Select the "PTR Demo and Evaluation Library" and use GUEST/GUEST as the
username and password on the login screen.
We would like to start porting groups from PTR V1.2 to PTR V2 as soon as
possible. Please contact me for more information on PTR V2 and to schedule
the port to PTR V2. We would like to have all the groups using PTR V1.2 ported
by July, 1997.
