2891.0. "Enter Network Password" by BSS::G_MCINTOSH (Touch Not the Cat, Bot the Glove) Thu Apr 03 1997 15:55

Where do I make changes to the information in the "Enter Network
Password" box that pops up on my screen.

There's a dialog box that has a space for Username, Password and Domain
and at the top it says "Enter Network Password for Microsoft
    Networking".

Where do I change this information, other than everytime the box pops
    up?

    Thanks in advance......Glenn

Hmm, under control panel/passwords or from Network icon in control
panel are two places I can think of.

I'm pretty sure that's where it is, but don't have W95 or NT4.0
here so I can't verify it.

It's not the password that I have to change, it's the username in the
"Enter Network Password" box that pops up on my screen.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.....Glenn

2891.6Clearer Problem DescriptionBSS::G_MCINTOSHTouch Not the Cat, Bot the GloveMon Apr 07 1997 18:1514

There's a dialog box that pops up on the screen that has a space
for Username, Password and Domain and at the top it says "Enter
    Network Password for Microsoft Networking".

It has some default information in each of these 3 spaces. It has
a default username, a default password and a default domain. The
password and domain are correct, but everytime it comes up, I have to
    change the username.

Is there a way to change the username somewhere so that it becomes the
    default one?
